As a woman leading in the fields of veterinary health and agricultural innovation, I carry the voices of millions of rural women who walk miles under the sun—guiding cattle, tending farms, raising children, and holding entire communities together. These women are not just farmers. They are providers, protectors, and pillars of resilience.
But too often, they are left out—excluded from decision-making, under-served by veterinary systems, and under-valued in the economy.
