COMPOSITION:

INDICATIONS:
- It is used for the treratment of hypocalcemia and other conditions such as parturient paresis, rickets, losteomalacia and anaphyletic diseases, in which increase serum level of calcium would prove beneficial to the animal. It also used as preventative againesthypocalciemia during blood transfusion, and as cardiac stimulant when epinephrine has proven ineffective and as a psychological antagonistto potassium in case of hypercalciemia. Calcium borogluconet is also used for treat eclampsia in dogs and Cats, dystocia, uterine inertia and as treatment for insect sting and bite.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
- For slow intravenous injection only.
- Ensure that the solution is at body temperature before administration.
- Cattle and horse: 80-100ml per 500kg body weight
- Sheep and goat: 15–25ml
- Dog and cat: 1–5ml
- Massage the subcutaneous site gently after administration.
