COMPOSITION:
- Each ml contains:
- Sulfadiazine sodium ….…………………..200 mg
- Trimethoprim……………………………..40mg
- Solvent (ad)…………………….1ml
INDICATIONS:
- It is indicated in the treatment of acute, sub-acute and chronic conditions of bacterial origion in cattle, pig and dog.
- The therapeutic spectrum includes both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria’s include streptococci, staphylococci, staphylococci Actinobacilli, Actinomycae. Salmonella, pasteurellae, pneumococci, proteus,E-coli, Corynebacteria, vibrio, bordetella, Brucella, klebselle and haemophilae.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
- For Intramuscular injection:
- Cattle, Horse and Pig: 1ml per 16kg body weight
- For Subcutaneous Injection:
- Dogs and cats: 1ml per 8kg body weight.
- In several infections treatment should be given until two days after the clinical signs have resolved, up to maximum of 5 days.
